ABOUT ME
My name is Natalja Bubina, and I am an artist.
In my work, I turn to the sea and landscapes — to those states of nature where there is silence, depth, and a sense of being fully present in the moment.
I work with oil colors and soft pastels, paying special attention to color, light, and atmosphere. I am inspired by the nature around us — the coastline, the sky, the water, the wind, and the changing light throughout the day. I seek beauty in the most ordinary things: in a calm horizon line, in muted shades of the sea, in simple and honest landscapes.
My paintings are not about visual effect, but about conveying a feeling of calm, space, and inner balance. Each work is created slowly and thoughtfully, with respect for the material and the moment.

Solo Exhibition
2020 — “Baltijas Jūras stāsti” (Stories of the Baltic Sea)
A solo exhibition of works created in soft pastels.
The project is dedicated to my roots — to a person born by the coast of the Baltic Sea, shaped by the salty taste of sea water and the countless of the all tones of water.
